Then, we are going to continue typing on Microsoft Word our state facts. We are then going to add a certain clip art of our state. We will also add our state flag. Click here to get your flag. Finally, we are going to add our state quarter. Click on this link to get it. We are going to right click and copy and paste the quarter to our paper. Print in color when done. Then, save. Today, we will type for 10 minutes on Type to Learn. Then, we are going to learn how to use the program Microsoft Excel. We will learn what cells, row, and columns are. We will then resize our cells. We will begin filling in cells with different colors to create a picture. Save in your folder as 'P and your name'
Week 7 -
Today, we are going to learn about proper typing. You will be introduced to the "home row keys". Then, we will learn how to use Type to Learn. I will go over all of the lessons with you, and then you will begin to work on them on your own. From now on, for the first 10 minutes of class, you will work on Type to Learn.
Week 6 -
Today, we are going to be taking our first benchmark test. Please click here for the link for Study Island. Then, wait for everyone to be ready. Look over the entire question before answers. Skip questions you may be unsure of to go back to. Look over your answers when done. Once you have turned in your test, you should read the book you brought with you.
Week 5 -
Today, we are going to finish up our "All About Me" pennants. We will then print them out and hang them up.
